AMBARINO® BioSeal is a water-based desensitizing material intended for multiple applications in dental practice. It is used to seal exposed dentinal tubules in the treatment of hypersensitive tooth necks and is also recommended before or after tooth whitening procedures.
The special feature of the material is the combination of nature-identical oxalic acid and potassium nitrate. Upon contact with the tooth substance, water-insoluble and acid-stable precipitates, such as calcium oxalate, are formed. The inorganic components of the tooth are incorporated into the resulting crystal structure. This creates a fast-acting seal that bonds to the natural tooth structure.
